Operation method of electric valve

1 Preparation before operation

1.1 Before operating the valve, carefully read the operating instructions.

1.2 The flow direction of gas must be clear before operation, and the valve opening and closing signs should be checked.

1.3 Check the appearance of the electric valve to see if it is affected with damp. If it is affected with damp, dry it; If other problems are found, they should be handled in a timely manner, and no operation with faults is allowed.

1.4 For electric devices that have been out of service for more than 3 months, check the clutch before starting, and check the insulation, steering and electrical circuit of the motor after confirming that the handle is in the manual position.

2 Precautions for operation of electric valve

2.1 When starting, confirm that the clutch handle is at the corresponding position.

2.2 If the electric valve is controlled in the control room, turn the change-over switch to the REMOTE position, and then control the switch of the electric valve through the SCADA system.

2.3 In case of manual control, turn the change-over switch to the LOCAL position, locally operate the switch of the electric valve, when the electric valve is opened or closed in place, it will automatically stop working, and finally turn the operation change-over switch to the middle position.

2.4 When using field operated valves, the valve opening/closing indication and valve stem operation shall be monitored, and the valve opening/closing degree shall meet the requirements.

2.5 When the valve is fully closed by on-site operation, the electric closing shall be stopped before the valve is closed in place, and the valve shall be closed in place by inching instead.

2.6 For the valve set by the stroke and over torque controller, when the valve is fully opened or closed for the first time, attention shall be paid to monitoring its control over the stroke. If the valve switch does not stop when it reaches the position, it shall be manually shut down immediately.

2.7 In the process of opening and closing the valve, if the signal indicator light indicates error and the valve makes abnormal noise, the machine shall be stopped in time for inspection.

2.8 Turn off the power supply of the electric valve after successful operation.

2.9 When operating multiple valves at the same time, pay attention to the operation sequence and meet the production process requirements.

2.10 When opening a large caliber valve with bypass valve, if the pressure difference at both ends is large, the bypass valve shall be opened for pressure regulation first, and then the main valve: after the main valve is opened, the bypass valve shall be closed immediately.

2.11 The ball valve through which the pig (launcher) passes must be fully opened when receiving and sending pig (launcher).

2.12 The ball valve, gate valve, globe valve and butterfly valve can only be fully opened or closed, and cannot be used for adjustment.

2.13 During the operation of gate valve, globe valve and flat valve, when the valve is closed or opened to the top dead center or bottom dead center, it shall rotate for 1/2~1 turn.
