How To Choose The Cable Power Parameters Of Floor Heating Thermostat?

It is recommended to choose a heating cable with a total power of no more than 3520W.
1) Since the heating cable has hot and cold wire connection joints, whether it is a welded or crimped connection, it is necessary to ensure long-term reliability under conditions such as high temperature, oxidation, corrosion, etc. Excessive power (excessive current) at the hot and cold wire joints may cause overcurrent risks.
2) Due to comprehensive factors such as voltage fluctuation, resistivity deviation of the heating cable, temperature rise, deviation of the controller's technical indicators, etc., a 20% safety factor should be reserved.
3) If the heating cable power is below 2816W, a thermostat with a current carrying current of 16A can be used. The heating cable power is between 2816W and 3520W, and a thermostat with a current carrying current of 20A should be selected.
